The Great Island 5K

New in 2010 there will be a race walkers division with its own competition and awards. Please see the race information page in coming weeks to keep abreast of developments and specific news about the awards.

Because of some requests to run the 5K course in advance of the race, we have added a page (Race Map and Directions) to the website.

We have added a page listing registered runners. We plan to update the page on a weekly basis until the week of the race.

In our 2008 post race survey, you overwhelmingly told us that you would like a chip starting mat. Ask and you will receive!

Order of finish will still be determined by when you cross the finish line but the starting mat will allow everyone to see their actual time run time.
